Who Am I?
I retired with the most at bats of anyone without an extra base hit. I also went 12-5 as a rookie with the Astros in 1986.

TSN Pitchers of the Year Winners

By Patrick Mondout

The Sporting News has named AL and NL Pitchers of the Year since 1948. They also named winners in 1944 and 1945.

While the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) has never been shy about naming a reliever the league MVP, TSN has been very reluctant to name a reliever Pitcher of the Year. Even in 1981, when reliever Rollie Fingers won both the Cy Young and the MVP, it was Tigers ace Jack Morris who took home the TSN AL Pitcher of the Year award.

Share Your Memories!

Our sites have always been by you and about you. If you check our TV Forums or our Technology & Science forums, you'll find literally thousands of messages from fans of 1970s TV shows, survivors of hurricanes or aircraft accidents, etc. from all over the world sharing their memories, asking questions, making comments. Our baseball section is new, but don't let that stop you from sharing your memories of the first game you went to, your favorite player, a now-forgotten stadium, etc. Of course you can also ask questions, post trivia, tell the world what you think of Barry Bonds, or just read what others are saying.
