John Eigenauer is professor of Philosophy and English at Taft College
in Taft, California. He grew up a Reds fan in Los Angeles, rooting for his
favorite player, Pete
Rose, and the Big Red Machine. He has taught English, Philosophy,
Physics, Mathematics, Spanish, and Computer Science, and worked in
computer technology for NASA and Microsoft. He has seen ballgames in 23
Major League parks and hopes to see them all. He and his wife, Cecilia,
live in Bakersfield, California.
We are proud to have John writing reviews of baseball books for us. We
sincerely hope his writing, knowledge and passion for the game, and his
keen eye for great baseball books - both new and classics - will be
appreciated by BaseballChronology
visitors for many years to come.
