Major League Baseball Attendance from 1890-2005

Here are the attendance figures by season for Major League Baseball. These figures are for the National Association from 1871-1875, the National League from 1876-2005, the 1890 Player's League, the 1884 Union Association, the 1914 Federal League and American League from 1901-2005. (Figures are not available for the 1915 Federal League.) Click on a year below to see the figures for individual teams for a season.

Milestones: 1 million in 1883, 2 million in 1884, 5 million in 1904, 10 million in 1930 (not achieved again until 1945), 20 million in 1948, 30 million in 1973, 40 million in 1978, 50 million in 1987, 70 million in 1993.
