Jose Canseco, Dennis Eckersley, Rickey Henderson, Mark McGwire and Bob Welch made the All-Star team. Bob Welch was honored with the Cy Young award. Rickey Henderson won the American League Most Valuable Player award. Gold Glove winners for 1990 included Mark McGwire.
