The 2005 Texas Rangers went 79-83 and finished 3rd in the American League West. The Rangers drew 2,525,221 to Ballpark at Arlington. Kenny Rogers, Alfonso Soriano, Mark Teixeira and Mike Young made the All-Star team. Gold Glove winners for 2005 included Kenny Rogers and Mark Teixeira.
