1933 Baseball All-Star Game
Below are the results of the 1933 All-Star game with
a boxscore and play-by-play courtesy of
Retrosheet. You can also view figures for any other All-Star game by
using the tool on the right and well as a history
of the midsummer classic.
In order to be fair to both leagues in this first All-Star game, the
game ball was changed from the American
League's to the National's after
the top of the 5th. The also umpires rotated so that an NL ump was now
calling balls and strikes.
