| "Nolan knows he has perfect mechanics. It makes no difference that he doesn't understand the mechanics. He lucked into throwing the ball right. It came naturally to him. If he had been taught, he probably wouldn't do it right." |

1960 Gold Gloves
Below are the winners of the 1960 Gold
Glove awards. The award is given annually by Rawlings, makers of
baseball gloves, to the best defensive player at each position in each
league. Since 1965 managers and coaches have voted for the winners, though
they cannot vote for players on their own team.
Read more about the award, including a complete list of winners, here.
Notes: Three outfielders were chosen
regardless of position (LF, CF, RF) starting in 1961. Such players are therefore
shown above in random outfield positions and not necessarily where they played.
National League players are in yellow while American Leaguers are in white.

Share Your Memories!
|
|
 |
|
Our sites have always been by you and about you. If
you check
our TV Forums or our Technology & Science forums, you'll find literally thousands of messages from fans
of 1970s TV shows, survivors of hurricanes or aircraft accidents, etc. from all over the world sharing their memories, asking
questions, making comments. Our baseball section is new, but don't let
that stop you from sharing
your memories of the first game you went to, your favorite player, a
now-forgotten stadium, etc. Of course you can also ask questions, post
trivia, tell the world what you think of Barry Bonds, or just read what
others are saying.
