The 1970 Chicago Cubs went 84-78 and finished 2nd in the National League East. The Cubs drew 1,642,705 to Wrigley Field. Glenn Beckert, Jim Hickman, Don Kessinger and Hoyt Wilhelm made the All-Star team. Gold Glove winners for 1970 included Don Kessinger.
