The 1992 Pittsburgh Pirates went 96-66 and finished 1st in the National League East. The Pirates drew 1,829,395 to Three Rivers Stadium. Barry Bonds and Andy Van Slyke made the All-Star team. Barry Bonds won the National League Most Valuable Player award. Gold Glove winners for 1992 included Barry Bonds, Jose Lind and Andy Van Slyke.
