The 1955 St. Louis Cardinals went 68-86 and finished 7th in the National League. The Cardinals drew 849,130 to Sportsman's Park. Luis Arroyo, Harvey Haddix, Stan Musial and Red Schoendienst made the All-Star team. Bill Virdon won the National League Rookie of the Year award.
