1977 Baseball CardsBy Patrick Mondout
Topps produced their first set of cards for
Burger King in 1977, as well as finally marketing a set of cloth
stickers after years of unreleased test printings dating back to at
least 1972. O-Pee-Chee's set featured less
cards than in previous years, but more unique photos. Topps produced the
last of their 660 card sets, featuring rookie cards of Andre Dawson and
Dale Murphy. The appearance of those two made this set red hot in 1982-83.
