1977-78 O-Pee-Chee WHA Hockey Cards

O-Pee-Chee (OPC) produced its last WHA set in 1977 with this 66 card set - its smallest set since the inaugural WHA set in 1974. This left no room for any subsets. The designs are substantially similar to the 1976 set on both sides and once again a single color scheme is used (reddish-pink/cyan) - with the exception of the special card commemorating Gordie Howe's 1000th goal (see below).

As with the NHL cards, OPC raised the prices to 15¢ per wax pack, but included an extra four cards in each.
