After drafting O.J. Simpson following the 1968 season, the Bills spent
a number of choices building an offensive line for "The Juice"
to run behind. That line, nicknamed the "Electric Company"
because the kept the juice flowing, became complete with the selection of
future Hall of Fame guard Joe Delamielleure of Michigan State.
John Hannah, one of the greatest offensive lineman of all time, was
taken by the Patriots with the fourth pick overall. Hannah, Delamielleure,
and third round pick Dan Fouts are the only members of the Hall from this
draft class.
