Cool MillionBy Brian W. Fairbanks
Rotating with Banacek and Madigan
on the NBC Wednesday Mystery Movie during the 1972-73
season, "Cool Million" was the least successful of the trio, and
only four 90 minute episodes were produced, compared to eight for Banacek
and six for Madigan.
The series starred James Farentino, previously seen in "The
Lawyers" segment of The Bold Ones, as Jefferson Keyes, a
private investigator whose fee was the cool million of the title.
"Cool Million" was also the title of the two hour pilot episode
that was broadcast the same season in one of the network's movie slots.
