The FBI was my favorite show because it got support from the legendary
director J. Edgar Hoover. It was based on real life FBI files and it
showed how the case started, how they use forensic evidence, informants,
surveillance to capture their prey and final outcome.
The sponsor was Ford Motor Company which supplied all the cars and
trucks. the agents drove Ford Galaxy 500's, The Mafia used Lincoln
Continentals and Ford Thunderbirds and other Ford and Mercury cars where
also used. The cars were also used on other Quinn Martin shows.
My favorite episodes I like dealt with Espionage, unlawful interstate
flight, crimes aboard federal reservations.
Unfortunately, I have not seen any reruns of the show in recent years.

This was Grandpa's favorite show and I liked it too. Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. seemed like a real FBI man and so did the rest of the cast. I really liked William Reynolds as agent Colby. --Anonymous | Note: This is just a random sample of the FBI messages in our TV forums!
