Baby, I'm Back was Demond Wilson's 1st sitcom after the end of Sanford & Son in 1977. The series plot was a that Demond's character tries to manipulate his way back into his ex-wife's life in an attempt to win her back and resume their former 9 year marriage. The only other characters I recall are his daughter, played by an 8 or 9 year old Kim Fields who later played Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey on The Facts Of Life. Also, his mother-in-law played by the same actress who was always sitting in the first story window on NBC's "227". The show only lasted about a season andthe only episode that comes to mind is when he finally gets his wife alone with no interference and it looks like the old magic is there. Then the whoe family comes pratically busting through the door and ruins the moment. So her mother doesn't get started she asks him to leave. It was a pretty amusing show but it just didn't catch on. Too bad. --Happi-Puppi | Note: This is just a random sample of the Baby, I'm Back messages in our TV forums! Click here to see what others have said or to post your own comments! |
