Diana Rigg, best known at the time as "Emma Peel" in the British spy show The Avengers, starred in this brief series as a fashion designer in New York. Somewhat reminiscent of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, "Diana" had a more sophisticated milieu complete with a swishy gay designer character among the supporting cast. Not bad, but the series never caught on and was cancelled at midseason.
